Types of Threaded Bars

Threaded Bars are simple a piece of longer round bars having threading from start to end fully threaded depending on what is the standard it is made for.

There are two type of manufacturing process for Bolts first is cold forming which recommended for small size fasteners because of it is economical and other is Hot forging or forming Bolts. As far as cold formimg is concerned that is vaible and possibble only in stainless steel regular or very regular grades and not for rare grades. Here we would like to specify or clear the term regular and very regular. Regular grades are like AISI 304/304L, 316/316L only. But there are hundreds of grades in stainless steel fasteners itself which covers all type of bolts. Not only this but cold forming is also restricted to some perticular type of Bolts like Hex bolts, Hex Screws, Socket Head Bolts as per DIN 931, DIN 933 etc. But there are many shapes and designs in Bolts which are not so regular or not demanded in bulk quantity like heavy hex bolts, square head bolts etc.

These kind of Stainless steel fasteners are being manufactured through hot forming process. Hot forming process is not easy and as good as what the first one. This process is legnthy as well and that is why the production is very low in comparision to the first one. But this process is very well recomended for Super Alloys Bolts like Alloy 400, Alloy K-500, Alloy 617, Alloy C-276 etc. Because these metals are very hard in character and that impacts directly to tooling. To manufacture Monel Alloy 400 Bolts or Monel Alloy K -500 is not so hard as far as hardness is concerned in comparision to Inconel Alloy 600 Bolts or Inconel Alloy 617 Bolts or even Inconel Alloy 625 Bolts. Here matter gets more crticial when we come accross to manufacture Haslelloy Alloy C-276 bolts or Hastelloy Alloy C Bolts.

Types of Nuts

There are three kind of nature of nuts i.e. cold Forging, Hot Forging and Machined Nuts.

Cold forging or cold work nuts are being manufactured by automated process. In India there are several manufacturing plants for manufacturing Alloy 400, Alloy k-500 nuts including us.

Nuts in various Metals available with us like Stainless nuts, duplex steel hex nuts, super duplex heavy hex nuts, nickel alloy hex nuts like monel hex nuts, inconel hex nuts, hastelloy heavy hex nuts, incoloy heavy hex nuts etc.
